Xmas in NYC and Shoe Porn

Punk Glam Princess and I hit Saks last week, as there was a perfect pair of Miu Miu's on sale that I'd been dying for. It's hard to pass up that great of a sale, and yet again my angel sales assistant Hope came through for me finding the very last pair in my size. While there we went a little ph0t0 crazy and present you with some shoe porn...

The colour of these were sensational, but sadly didn't fit my little tooties ):

Some Louboutins to drool over...

Smarties/ Skittles coloured YSL Tributes! So much prettier in person, with a slight metallic sheen to them (and yes I made those red babies mine mine mine all mine, I'm a happy shoe miser!)

PGP giving the sparkly reindeer a Xmas kiss!

The view of the tree at Rockerfeller Center from Saks (insane crowds kept us from getting any closer!)

A few of the windows at Saks. I really loved this one, with the huge tentacles!

This was sweet, it turned to reveal...

A beautiful jewel!

Lastly, a pic of me in my new Betsy Johnson bustle dress at PGP's sleepover birthday party this past weekend. Nope, didn't get a lick of sleep with 5 girls giggling away into the wee hours!

I hope you enjoyed that little bit of NYC Xmas cheer, and of course the shoe porn! (I'll show my new pair another time , too sleepy now...)

Cheers!

  4. Thanks so much J! You know I think you've got smashing style and taste too, so it's a mutual admiration! Wait until you see my Xmas Tributes, you will DIE, they are sooo pretty, I can't wait to get them on my tootsies! Oh and the Punk Glam Princess fit s into my new dress, it'll look great with a tee under. So she's pretty chuffed over being able to share! It was so great seeing you again -- we'll have to try and get together sometime soon and go for coffee or something stronger!

  6. Hi Nadia!
Thanks for the compliments! The wall colour is actually a bit greener than it looks in the photo, I was going for chartreuse but this "pear" green was the closest I could get. I love it too, it's a very happy colour -- so much so that I'm thinking of painting the kitchen the same colour! We did have a happy holiday, I hope you and Cami did too!

  7. Ga! The dress, the dress!!!!! You look utterly amazingly gorgeous and I would stop traffic to cross the street to tell you so:). Thanks for the shoe porn - sigh - drool;). I love the Christmas decoration shots - isn't it amazing when stores and sometimes whole cities dress up the streets in decorations that are more fairytale than just tinsel etc? I love the dress dummies in the "forest" and the gorgeous balloon. So excited you're back and thanks so much for your lovely comment - most of my readers are from the US so it must be so weird to see us in summer gear. Man, you guys are getting some serious blizzards - hope all is well and you're staying warm:) xoxo

  8. You're so sweet, thanks! I just remembered your post with the gorgeous bustle dresses! I always have to throw in some shoe porn when I get a chance, I'm such a shoe ho. I wish I had taken more holiday decor shots as we were all over the city that day into evening, but the wee Punk Glam Princess got a bit tired of stopping. The only other big city I love at Xmas is London, talk about fairytale! It is a bit odd to see you guys in summer gear, but I just have to remind myself there's a whole other hemisphere (; We've been pretty lucky with snow this year, but we did get snowed in for a day. Then the winds caused probs with drifts as we live by the Hudson river so it was declared a state of emergency in my town. But we stayed cozy and warm inside!
